We are returning from Family Camp this weekend. The weather was very unpredictable, but thankfully we can stay at my mom's so that we don't have to sleep in the dorms. Becca doesn't sleep well when we are away from home and I can't imagine how any times she would wake others in the dorms.
We've had a great time. Nathan's been playing in the sand volleyball pit and riding on paddle boats with daddy. Mark and I got to relax and read while the kids played. It's nice to get away without cell phones and television and focus on time spent with our family.
Little Galilee is definitely one of our favorite places. In Psalm 23, David compares God to a shepherd leading us beside still waters and restoring our soul. Little Galilee allows us to take time to do just that.
